Christmas gift hampers for clients

Is your office shutting down for Christmas? Whether you’re the type of business that closes for two days or two weeks, marking Christmas is a good way to keep your staff happy. It could be as stereotypical as a wild Christmas party or as traditional as an annual bonus, but it’s something that needs doing.

And it’s not just your team that needs to know it’s Christmas. You can generate seasonal goodwill and year-long loyalty by offering your client list some Christmas goodies. Discounts and extended payment terms are good, especially with increased holiday expenses. But you want something more, something they’ll treasure and remember.

It’s standard practice to send out Christmas cards or EDMs (electronic direct mailers). These are specially designed and sometimes animated to warm up your client’s inbox. Take it a step further by sending your clients a customised gift basket. Each hamper comes with a gift card that should be signed by the CEO for that personal touch.

If you’re unsure of what to put in the gift basket, we can offer a few suggestions. Gourmet Baskets has a line of corporate gift baskets, but we also have Christmas hampers, so we can advise gift collections that intersect both groups. Depending on the nature of your business and the level of clientele you deal with, you can buy a CEO hamper or a staff basket.

For the CEO, you might select an executive single-serving hamper. Our Merry & Bright Hamper contains a single bottle of either Shiraz, Moet, Prosecco, or Sauvignon, plus Christmas pudding and a gingerbread cookie. It’s just right for the classy manager. If your corporate relationship is more of a group effort, buy a hamper the whole office can share.

Consider the aptly named Office Share Christmas Hamper. It has generous portions of wine, chocolate, cheese, olives, and nuts. Its variety and volume will ensure everyone in the office gets a sample of their preferred Christmas goodies. In addition to three different wines, it has Christmas cake laced with brandy and rum, shortbread cookies, and boiled lollies.

For a smaller gift budget, you can still score points with the Office Party Christmas Hamper. It contains similar items to the previous hamper, but on a smaller scale and at half the price. This party hamper carries Shiraz, Sauvignon, Christmas pudding, and gingerbread stocking biscuits.

There’s no room in this hamper for cake, but it does have Belgian chocolate and rum balls, which are almost as good. For those with more savoury taste buds, there are cheesy crispbreads, olives, and lots of nuts. We have delivery services available, so if you’d like us to do a personal drop off, it can be arranged.

Deliveries are especially helpful if you’re issuing multiple hampers to different client offices. Let us know early enough, and we can arrange a customised group package to make your clients’ Christmas even more memorable.
